This is reported by Rivne24
The offenders broke windows, furniture, and school equipment, which led to the temporary transition of the educational institution to remote learning. The adult received a one-year probation sentence, while the teenagers were each fined 850 UAH.
According to the court ruling dated November 4, the incident occurred on the evening of October 13, 2024. The investigation established that the man and the two teenagers were drinking alcohol on the territory of Kryliv Lyceum. The oldest among them suggested to the minors to “have some fun,” after which they began to destroy the property of the educational institution.
Initially, they broke the windows of the workshop, boiler room, and main building with stones, and then broke into the interior, where they overturned desks, broke furniture, kicked down doors, damaged a sports showcase with trophies, flower pots, a volleyball net, a table tennis table, and vandalized the walls. The total amount of damages exceeded 61,000 UAH.
The police who arrived at the scene caught the offenders in the act – the boys were trying to escape through a window, but one of them was apprehended on the spot. Later, the press service of the Korets City Council published photographs of the damages.
