Five Heroes of Ukraine Laid to Rest in Rivne Region

A farewell took place in the Rivne region for the defenders of Ukraine: Serhiy Radchuk, Serhiy Boyko, Andriy Shakhraychuk, Anton Polyukhovich, and Serhiy Marinin.

Serhiy Radchuk, born on October 22, 1981, in Rivne, joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in June 2023. He underwent military training in the United Kingdom and Spain. On April 1, 2026, while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction, he was killed at the age of 44.

Serhiy Boyko, born on August 19, 1979, moved with his family to Rivne during his childhood. In June 2022, he became a volunteer to defend his homeland. On March 31, 2026, while receiving treatment in Sloviansk, the sergeant passed away at the age of 46.

Andriy Shakhraychuk, born in 1977 and residing in the village of Derev’yane, showed courage and dedication by standing up to defend Ukraine. He was killed on March 29, 2026, while carrying out a combat mission.

Anton Polyukhovich, originally from the village of Sernyky, was born in 2001. His path to military service began with volunteering, after which he completed chaplaincy courses. As part of the “Brotherhood” battalion, he participated in combat operations in the Zaporizhzhia direction, where he was killed on March 3, 2026, for which he was awarded the Order of Courage.

Serhiy Marinin lived in the village of Yarynivka in the Sarny community. He served as an anti-aircraft gunner in the 68th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. On April 7, 2024, during a combat mission, he went missing, and in March 2026, an examination confirmed his death.
