On April 17 at 10:22 PM, a report was received on the special line “101” about a traffic accident in the city of Rivne at the intersection of Kulyka, Hudacheka, and Verbova streets.

In response to the incident, two emergency rescue units were promptly dispatched.
Upon arrival at the scene, the State Emergency Service rescuers determined that a collision had occurred between two passenger cars. As a result of the impact, one of the passengers was trapped inside the vehicle.
To free the injured woman, the rescuers used specialized hydraulic equipment. She was quickly handed over to emergency medical personnel for further hospitalization. To prevent a fire, the emergency responders took measures to disconnect the battery terminals in both vehicles.
A total of 2 units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and 8 rescuers were involved in the operation.
Currently, the causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
