The fatal car accident occurred on November 9 at around 1 PM on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the village of Fedorivka, Hoshcha community.

According to preliminary data from the investigative department, the driver of a VAZ vehicle, a 72-year-old resident of the village of Balashivka, failed to ensure the safety of his maneuver while making a turn, which led to a collision with a Volkswagen Touareg SUV driven by a 31-year-old woman from Kyiv.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and his 67-year-old wife sustained injuries from which they died at the scene.
The investigator has already initiated a pre-trial investigation into the violation of traffic safety rules that resulted in the deaths of several individuals.
