The State Environmental Inspection of the Polissya District conducted an assessment of the damage caused to the environment due to unorganized emissions of pollutants as a result of the airstrike on the city of Rivne.

As a result of the shelling that took place on May 1, 2026, the total amount of damage exceeded 11 million hryvnias.
According to calculations, more than 27 tons of solid particles entered the atmosphere during the combustion, as well as thousands of tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂).
In addition, a total of over 3,500 tons of carbon dioxide was emitted into the atmosphere. The total amount of damage caused to the environment amounts to 11.13 million hryvnias.
