The death of soldier Oleksandr Myronovych Bryzh has been confirmed, who gave his life while carrying out a combat mission to defend Ukraine.

Oleksandr Myronovych was born on June 28, 1982, in the city of Sarny. He studied at Sarny Secondary School No. 5 and later obtained a qualification as a builder at VPU-22. In peaceful life, he worked in the field of window and door installation, demonstrating responsibility and diligence in his work, which earned him respect among colleagues and acquaintances.
On June 16, 2024, Oleksandr was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, where he held the position of a gunner in the 5th Jaeger Company. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk region, where he received the call sign “San” among his comrades.
On August 5, 2024, during a combat mission near the settlement of Novoselivka in the Donetsk region, Oleksandr Myronovych’s life was tragically cut short.
The farewell and burial of Oleksandr Bryzh will take place tomorrow, May 30:
- 10:00 AM – procession route: Kostopilskaya – Yevropeiskaya – Shyroka – Soborna
- 10:15 AM – farewell at home (Soborna St., 21A)
- 11:00 AM – farewell at the central square of the city
- 12:00 PM – funeral service at the Church of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God (Kotliarevskyi St.)
- 1:00 PM – burial at the Alley of Heroes (Sharpyka St.)
