On May 31, 2026, during the Feast of the Holy Trinity at 1:00 PM, a water blessing service and prayer for the beginning of a good deed will take place in the “Na Shchaslyvomu” neighborhood of Rivne, dedicated to the presentation of the project for the future Cathedral of St. George the Victorious of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The prayer will be led by Metropolitan Ilarion of Rivne and Ostroh, with the co-servicing of Bishop Onufriy of Dubno and the clergy of the Rivne Diocese.
On this day, the community will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project, which will reflect what the new cathedral should look like.
The cathedral will be named in honor of St. George the Victorious, who is the patron saint of warriors and symbolizes courage, resilience, and the victory of light over darkness.
