Last night in the city of Sarny, on Yevropeiska Street, patrol police stopped a Renault vehicle whose driver failed to yield to a vehicle traveling on the main road.

During communication with the 39-year-old driver, the inspectors noticed signs of alcohol intoxication and offered him to undergo a test at the stop, to which he agreed.
The test results revealed 2.90 promille of alcohol in the driver’s blood, which is 14 times the permissible limit.
The patrol officers drew up administrative materials against the driver for violations:
- Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving under the influence) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses;
- Part 2 of Article 122 (Failed to yield) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
The vehicle was towed to the impound lot.
