The Dubno District Court has made a ruling regarding the head of the land resources department of the Semidubskyi village council, who was found guilty of bribery. For promising to influence the decisions of deputies regarding the sale of a land plot to a farming enterprise, the official was fined 105.6 thousand UAH.

According to the verdict issued on May 27, in the summer of 2025, Volodymyr Myroniuk received information about a request from the head of the farming enterprise “Olesya” regarding the purchase of a land plot of 19.45 hectares, which was in permanent use.
As it became known during the investigation, in August 2025, Myroniuk and an accomplice decided to obtain money for promising to influence the village council deputies during the consideration of the land issue. The intermediary informed the head of the farming enterprise that a payment of 2500 dollars was required for a positive decision.
In October 2025, the deputies granted permission for the sale of the land plot. Two months later, the accomplice Oleksandr Chuzdiuk received the agreed 2500 dollars from the representative of the enterprise. At the exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine at that time, this amount exceeded 105 thousand UAH.
During the trial, Volodymyr Myroniuk admitted his guilt and entered into an agreement with the prosecutor.
The judge found him guilty of receiving unlawful benefits for influencing the decision-making of officials (part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and imposed a penalty in the form of a fine of 105.6 thousand UAH. The verdict can still be appealed in the appellate court.
