Yesterday in the city of Kostopil, on Skladova Street, patrol officers discovered a Renault vehicle whose driver had violated traffic rules.

The inspectors signaled for the vehicle to stop, but the driver ignored the police’s demand and began to flee, increasing speed.
During the pursuit on Dubky Street, the driver lost control, veered off the roadway, and overturned.
While communicating with the 22-year-old driver, the patrol officers noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. An on-site test using a Drager device showed a result of 1.80 promille.
The patrol officers compiled administrative materials against the driver for:
- Article 124 (Violation of traffic rules resulting in an accident) of the Code of Administrative Offenses;
- Part 1 of Article 122-2 (Failure to comply with a stop signal) of the Code of Administrative Offenses;
- Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving under the influence).
