A 24-year-old resident of Rivne was released from prison, where he served a six-year sentence for intentional murder.

On May 31, around 8:15 PM, on Stepan Bandera Street, a police officer discovered a 15-year-old girl from Zdolbuniv who had just become a victim of robbery.
The girl was standing at a public transport stop and using her mobile phone. At that moment, an unknown man, riding by on a bicycle, snatched the gadget from her hands and fled.
Operatives from the criminal investigation department identified and detained the 24-year-old man involved in the crime in less than an hour. The police found the stolen smartphone in his backpack.
Investigators detained the perpetrator in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
There is a decision to be made regarding notifying the detainee of the suspicion and choosing a preventive measure for him.
