The accident occurred on November 18 at approximately 08:30 on the “Horodyshche-Rivne-Staroostyantyniv” highway near the village of Oleksandriya.

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of a “Volkswagen Golf”, a 44-year-old resident of Kostopil, collided with a “Renault Logan” driven by a 39-year-old woman from Rivne.
As a result of the accident, a 72-year-old passenger of the “Volkswagen”, a resident of Kostopil, was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Rivne Regional Hospital.
Biological samples were taken from both drivers. Currently, the investigator has initiated a pre-trial investigation.
