The traffic accident occurred in the city of Olevsk. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway.

According to preliminary data, around 21:25, the driver of a Lexus car, a 34-year-old resident of Rivne region, collided with a “Zubr” motoblock while driving on the city street.
As a result of the accident, the motoblock driver, a 61-year-old local resident, sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
Law enforcement officials determined that the driver of the car was in a state of alcohol intoxication (2.6 per mille). Investigators detained him in accordance with procedural law.
The driver has been notified of suspicion under part 2 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by persons driving under the influence). Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.
For his actions, the man faces a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years, as well as deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 5 to 8 years.
