In Rivne, Two Defenders of Ukraine Were Laid to Rest

Dmytro Sheveliov, who voluntarily took up arms to defend his homeland during the anti-terrorist operation in 2014, had since been almost constantly in service. With the onset of the full-scale invasion, he rejoined the Defense Forces, becoming one of the first.

Unfortunately, 35-year-old Sergeant Dmytro Sheveliov was killed on May 15, 2026, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.

Viktor Romaniuk was mobilized into the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine in January 2024. He always cared for his family and considered it his duty to protect them.

41-year-old Soldier Viktor Romaniuk, unfortunately, was killed on June 2, 2025, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.
