A resident of Dnipro attempted to leave Ukraine, communicating via messenger with an organizer who received $14,400 from his wife on September 26 last year in the Republic of Poland.

On October 7, he met with a 33-year-old resident of Mykolaiv, who drove him to the village of Rokytne in his own Audi car.
After that, according to the plan, two unidentified individuals, bypassing checkpoints on motorcycles and cars, ensured his unhindered passage to the designated location and indicated the further walking route.
On this route, the conscripted individual from Dnipro was discovered by border guards.
Investigators from the VП №2 (village of Rokytne), with operational support from the migration police and procedural guidance from the prosecutor’s office, informed the 33-year-old resident of Mykolaiv of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to assisting in the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine, committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy.
The court has chosen a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of night house arrest.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, during which the police are identifying three more individuals involved in the commission of this crime.
The penalty under the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 5 to 7 years.
