Nearly 10,000 Cases of Influenza Recorded in Rivne Region

During the past week, 9,782 residents of the Rivne region sought medical assistance for symptoms of influenza and ARVI. In comparison, there were 8,920 visits recorded in the previous 7 days.

According to the regional center for disease control and prevention, the predominant pathogens are influenza virus type A, adenoviruses, and rhinoviruses.

Among the patients, two-thirds are children.

In most schools in the region, specifically 367, classes are conducted in-person; 83 schools operate in a mixed format, while 63 are conducting distance learning.
