Tomorrow, at 8:50 AM, a solemn unveiling of a memorial plaque in memory of the fallen Hero Andriy Solonovych will take place on the facade of Lyceum No. 23.

Andriy Solonovych, born on October 19, 1980, in Rivne, served his mandatory military service in the Rivne Military Commissariat and in the Government Communications of the Security Service of Ukraine, where he earned the military rank of reserve sergeant. From 2000 to 2004, he studied at the Textile College of the Ukrainian State University of Water Management, majoring in “Accounting.”
Andriy began his professional career as a trade manager, working as the head of the construction and repair unit in the companies “Kyivmiskbud,” and also leading the transport department of PJSC “Kyivkhlib.”
In May 2023, Andriy unhesitatingly joined the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on a contract basis, carrying out important tasks in the combat zone.
Unfortunately, he was killed while honorably fulfilling his military duty during the defense of Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity in January 2025 in Donetsk region.
