76 Thousand Square Meters of Housing Commissioned in Rivne Region in Three Months

In January–March 2026, 76 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the Rivne region, which is 97.8% of the figures for the same period last year.

The majority of the new housing consists of single-family homes, accounting for 66.6 thousand square meters, or 87.6% of the total volume. An additional 9.4 thousand square meters (12.4%) were commissioned in multi-apartment buildings.

The most active construction took place in the Rivne district, which concentrated 71.5% of all new housing in the region.

Rural areas continue to outpace cities in terms of new housing volumes:

  • 53.8 thousand square meters (70.8%) were commissioned in villages;
  • 22.2 thousand square meters (29.2%) were commissioned in cities.

Compared to the first quarter of 2025, the volume of residential construction in cities decreased by 11.6%, while in villages it increased by 2.3%.

In total, 748 apartments were commissioned in the region over three months. Among them:

  • 292 apartments (39%) — in cities;
  • 456 apartments (61%) — in rural areas.

The average area of newly built housing is 101.6 square meters. The average apartment in the city has an area of 76.1 square meters, while in rural areas it is 117.9 square meters.

This data confirms that residents of the Rivne region continue to actively build and commission new housing, especially outside of cities.
