Dmytro Bukriyev, born on July 31, 1983, in the village of Cherkaskoye in Donetsk region, left a deep mark in the hearts of those who knew him. He studied at a school in Kramatorsk and later obtained a profession as a locksmith at a local vocational school.

After completing his mandatory military service, Dmytro worked as a rigger at the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant. With the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, he was called up for training at the TCK and took up the defense of his homeland.
Unfortunately, 41-year-old Sergeant Dmytro Bukriyev was killed on June 15, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in the Kharkiv region. Only recently was his body identified and handed over to his family for a dignified burial.
In November 2025, Dmytro’s family moved to Rivne from Kramatorsk, becoming internally displaced persons.
He is survived by his mother, wife, and son, who will remember him as a true hero.
The farewell to Dmytro Bukriyev will take place on Saturday, February 21, at 10:30 AM at the Holy Protection Cathedral in Rivne. The serviceman will be buried at the Alley of Heroes in the “Nove” cemetery in the regional center.
