The Rivne City Council has secured 2nd place in the nationwide ranking of government authorities and local self-government, based on the monitoring of access to public information for the year 2025.

The evaluation included the following aspects:
- oral inquiries and personal receptions;
- written inquiries and adherence to rights related to their consideration;
- oral and written requests;
- publication of information on official websites;
- overall ranking for 2025.
The monitoring involved 200 public information holders from all corners of Ukraine, including 25 regional military administrations, 102 district military administrations, and 73 city councils.
Additionally, the Rivne City Council ranked among the leaders in the cumulative ranking for the period from 2022 to 2025.
The monitoring was conducted by the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in collaboration with UNDP experts in the field of information rights and professional monitors, using a specially developed methodology.
