This important project involves not only local authorities but also pharmacies, banking institutions, and retail chains. Ramps have already been installed in facilities, along with signs in Braille, which will significantly ease access for people with limited mobility.
Family doctors have also joined the initiative, working on making information accessible for people with visual impairments. Medical institutions have introduced Braille signs, facilitating comfortable visits for all patients. Such signs have also been installed near the structural unit of the Rivne Regional Employment Center.
Additionally, special parking spaces for individuals with disabilities have been marked near the main office of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which is an important step in ensuring their mobility.
Currently, work is underway to establish a barrier-free entrance to the Rokitne Village Council building. The new ramp with handrails meets modern accessibility standards, reflecting the community’s commitment to inclusion and equality for all its residents.
