Three cases of breast cancer have been recorded in Rivne over the course of two weeks of examinations for women as part of the “Pink October” campaign.

During this period, approximately three hundred patients sought help at the anti-cancer center without referrals. Three of them were diagnosed with breast cancer, although the disease was asymptomatic. Several other patients were referred for additional tests to clarify their diagnoses.
October 20 marks the All-Ukrainian Day of Breast Cancer Awareness. This type of cancer remains the most common among women, with 165 cases recorded in Rivne region over the past six months. However, with timely diagnosis and effective treatment, up to 90% of patients can recover. Therefore, regular check-ups are extremely important.
