A triple road traffic accident occurred in the Rivne region involving BMW, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Hyundai Kona vehicles. According to preliminary information, a 24-year-old BMW driver from the village of Hiltcha Druha crossed a solid line while overtaking and entered the oncoming lane, where he first collided with the Volkswagen and then with the Hyundai, driven by a 40-year-old woman from the village of Bila Krynytsia.

As a result of the accident, the BMW driver and his passenger, as well as the Hyundai driver, were taken to the hospital. After receiving the necessary medical assistance, all participants in the accident were released.
During the inspection, it was found that the BMW driver showed signs of intoxication, but he refused to undergo a sobriety test. Law enforcement officials drew up a report under Articles 124 (Traffic Accident) and 130 (Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The case materials will be sent to court for further consideration.
