A celebration for children took place in Rivne — “A Day with the Kings Team”
The first charity event supported by the people’s club “Veres” was held at the “Avangard” stadium. The event involved 50 children aged 7 to 12, who had the opportunity to enjoy a day filled with sports, friendship, and vibrant emotions.

The founder of the foundation, Pavlo Zhurylo, noted that the initiative creates “a space for children’s development and joy,” where they can acquire new skills, learn teamwork, and be inspired by the example of professional athletes.
From the very beginning, participants were greeted with a festive football atmosphere: a grand opening, introductions to the players of “Veres,” and a walk onto the field in symbolic jerseys. The biggest surprise for the children was the match format: 11 main squad players against a team of 50 young players. This confrontation resembled a real show, where the children eagerly tried to outplay the professionals, and the stands were filled with emotions.
This football celebration provided each young participant with a unique experience, a sense of unity and pride, as they stood shoulder to shoulder with their favorite athletes. Genuine emotions, mutual support, and team spirit prevailed on the field, and every child felt like part of a large football family.
After the match, the children were able to take photos with the players, receive autographs, and tour the stadium, seeing how the team lives behind the scenes. The day concluded with gifts, a shared lunch, and a large team photo for memories.
Welcoming the participants, Pavlo Zhurylo emphasized:
“We strive to create a safe and warm space where children can develop physically, emotionally, and socially. This initiative reflects the social mission of the foundation — to support the younger generation through sports, care, and development.”
The deputy general director of NK “Veres,” Yuriy Privarsky, added:
