Drunken Scooter Drivers Detected in Dubno Region

Drunken Scooter Riders Pose a Danger to Road Traffic

Instances of operating electric scooters under the influence of alcohol have been reported in the Dubno district, raising concerns among local residents.

Patrol officers stopped a Yadea electric scooter in the village of Vovkovi, where the driver violated traffic rules. During the inspection, the officers noticed signs of alcohol intoxication in the driver, which was confirmed by a positive test result.

The 32-year-old scooter driver was issued an administrative protocol under part 1 of Article 130 (Driving Under the Influence) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Additionally, in the village of Verba, police stopped a Honda scooter, whose driver also violated the rules. During the document check, signs of alcohol intoxication were found, which was also confirmed by a positive test.

Administrative materials were compiled against the 35-year-old offender under parts 1 of Article 130 (Driving Under the Influence) and 2 of Article 126 (Driving a Vehicle Without Proper Documents) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
