The Executive Committee of the Rivne City Council has made a decision to ban the movement of electric scooters in pedestrian zones.

At the meeting, it was decided:
- To prohibit the movement of personal light electric vehicles, such as electric scooters, electric scooters, segways, hoverboards, and gyroscooters, in all pedestrian zones (sidewalks) of the Rivne city territorial community, as well as their placement in these zones.
- To allow children aged 7 to 14 to use personal light electric vehicles only when accompanied by adults, and only on sidewalks, pedestrian paths, parks, and squares, while adhering to a safe speed limit of no more than 10 km/h.
