The First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, Serhiy Podolin, announced the expansion of the ‘Affordable Medicines’ list. According to him, the new order comes into effect on September 30. The list has been supplemented with 85 new medications, including 3 intended for pregnant women and new mothers, 6 for the treatment of thyroid diseases, 8 for glaucoma therapy, 5 for treating pediatric diseases, and 61 medications for cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, and neurological disorders.

In total, the ‘Affordable Medicines’ program now includes over 700 items, comprising 595 pharmaceutical products, 38 insulin preparations, 30 combined medications, and 42 types of test strips for measuring glucose levels.
