Tomorrow, March 5, at 11:00 AM, a farewell ceremony for the Hero, soldier Yaroslav Kulyk, will take place at Independence Square in Dubno.

Yaroslav Kulyk passed away on March 2, 2026, in a medical facility in Kyiv due to severe injuries sustained while fulfilling his duty to protect the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. He was only 24 years old.
In 2020, while still a student, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yaroslav became an operator of unmanned aerial vehicles in the remote mining company and bravely defended his country. During his service, he received several awards and honors for courage and professionalism.
After the farewell ceremony, the funeral service will be held at the St. Nicholas Monastery. Yaroslav will be laid to rest at the Alley of Glory.
March 5, 2026, is declared a Day of Mourning in Dubno in memory of the fallen Hero.
