Agricultural Insurance Program for Farmers
A new support program for farmers has been launched in Ukraine, which includes crop insurance. The main goal of this initiative is to protect farmers from adverse weather conditions and ensure stability in agricultural production.

Under the new terms, farmers can receive compensation of up to 45% of the insurance premium for contracts covering winter cereal crops such as wheat, rye, and barley.
To receive financial support, farmers must sign an insurance contract, pay the insurance premium, and provide the necessary documents to the insurance company by the specified deadlines: by April 1, August 1, or November 10.
The main risks covered under the program include weather factors that may adversely affect the harvest. Among these risks are the formation of ice crust, winter crop freezing, the need for reseeding, as well as late spring frosts, drought, excessive rainfall, and other climatic conditions that may lead to crop loss.
