On January 31 at 16:36, the Emergency Service received a report of a fire in a residential building located at: Sarny, Horykhova Street.

Two fire crews from the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit in Sarny were dispatched to the scene immediately.
Upon arrival, rescuers found that the fire had engulfed the ceiling between the first and second floors, so they began extinguishing the fire right away.
It took about three hours to extinguish the fire.
As a result of the incident, the fire destroyed the ceiling over an area of 40 m², as well as household items in the kitchen and living room over an area of 20 m².
Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries. Two units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and six rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently being determined.
