Fire in the village of Hirnyky in Rivne region: extinguishing the fire at a private household

On January 6 at 22:31, the Rivne emergency service received a report of a fire at a private household in the village of Hirnyky, part of the Semydubsk territorial community in the Dubno district.

An emergency fire crew from the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit in Dubno promptly responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, the rescuers found that the fire had engulfed the roof of the outbuilding. There was a risk of flames spreading to a neighboring residential house due to the proximity of the structures.

The firefighters quickly began extinguishing the fire using specialized firefighting agents. The fire was declared extinguished at 23:59.

As a result of the incident, the fire destroyed the roof and part of the ceiling of the outbuilding, covering a total area of 30 square meters, as well as household items.

The causes of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently being determined by the relevant specialists.

One unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and five rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
