Alongside the harvest, the sowing of winter grain crops for next year’s yield is being completed. To date, 111 thousand hectares have already been sown.

As of the end of October, the situation looks as follows:
- grain crops – 1 million tons;
- sugar beets – 457 thousand tons;
- soybeans – 270 thousand tons;
- sunflower – 90 thousand tons.
