On August 1, 2025, state inspectors for environmental protection, along with police representatives, conducted measures aimed at detecting and preventing administrative offenses in the Rivne region.

As part of these measures, illegal logging of 59 pine trees was discovered in the Voronky Forestry of the Rafalivka Forestry Branch of the “Polissya Forestry Office” of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine”.
The ecological inspection assessed the damage caused to the state as a result of the logging, which amounts to 587,543 hryvnias.
The case materials were forwarded to law enforcement agencies for entry into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 246 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, as well as for taking appropriate response measures within their jurisdiction.
