Student of the Rivne Regional Higher School of Sports Mastery Ilya Lash has become the champion of Ukraine in shooting, winning a gold medal at the final tournament. He received this award in the pistol shooting discipline at a distance of 10 meters. Although Ilya finished the qualification in fourth place, he demonstrated an impressive performance in the final, leaving no chances for his opponents.

Ilya Lash is already considered a new sports star of Rivne region and Ukraine.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time he has shown high results: he has already been the winner of the Ukrainian Championship in shooting in the team standings among adults twice (in 2024), and he also won silver and bronze medals at the European Championship for juniors (in 2025). In addition, Ilya earned silver and bronze medals at the XVIII European Youth Olympic Festival (in 2025).
