Seizure of Goods at the «Ugryniv – Dolgobychiv» Border Crossing
At the «Ugryniv – Dolgobychiv» border crossing, customs officers discovered goods prohibited for import into Ukraine during an inspection of a Mercedes vehicle driven by a 37-year-old resident of Rivne region.

The woman chose the «green corridor» lane for customs control. However, during the inspection of the minibus, customs officers found a package containing 180 MOTS-c pen syringes. This substance is not a medicinal product and is intended to enhance physical endurance, improve metabolism, rejuvenate, and aid in weight loss. According to the driver, she received the goods from Germany for transportation to Ukraine but was unaware of its characteristics.
A protocol was drawn up against the woman for violating customs regulations under part 3 of Article 471 (Non-declaration of goods subject to legislative prohibitions or restrictions on import into the customs territory of Ukraine) of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The value of the discovered substance amounts to 900,000 hryvnias.
