Three defenders of Ukraine were laid to rest: Oleg Hlinka, Andriy Korpan, and Vitaliy Hunk.
Oleg Hlinka from Mlyniv district, who lived in the village of Vladyslavivka, had been fighting against Russian occupiers in the ATO zone since 2014. He stood up to defend Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion by Russia in 2022, serving as the commander of a bridge section in the pontoon platoon of the 1st engineering company and held the rank of senior sergeant. Unfortunately, Oleg passed away in a military hospital on September 18 at the age of 53.

Andriy Korpan, born on December 10, 1995, in the town of Hoshcha, trained as a builder at the Rivne Technical Vocational College of NUVHP. He continued his studies at the National University of Water Management and Nature Management. On June 12, 2024, Andriy went to defend his homeland, serving in the hottest spots of combat in Donbas, where he was wounded. For his bravery and professional skill, he was awarded an order. On September 14, Andriy died while carrying out a combat mission in Kharkiv region, sacrificing his own life to save his comrades.
Vitaliy Hunk was born in the village of Holyshev. After studying at the local school, he trained as a tractor driver at the Klevan Vocational Technical School. In May 2024, Vitaliy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. While performing combat missions in Donetsk region, he found himself in a zone of fierce fighting and was considered missing since July 26, 2024. Vitaliy left behind his mother, brother, and sister. The defender was buried in the local cemetery in his native village.
