Currently, there are 25 foster families operating in Rivne, 15 of which were formed this year. These families are caring for 41 children.

The foster families are located in various communities in the region: 8 in Rivne, 4 in Vyriv, 3 in Korets, 2 in Varash, and 1 each in Hoshcha, Bilokrynytsia, Kostopil, Berezne, Mizoch, Radyvyliv, Myrohoshcha, and Rafaliv communities.
At present, there are conditions for the establishment of two more new foster families. Candidates for this status have already passed the initial selection and have begun training at the regional center for social services under a program approved by the Ministry of Social Policy.
It is worth noting that a foster family is a form of temporary family care for children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and cannot live with their biological parents.
