The Rivne Road Maintenance Department is actively working to improve road safety.

New road signs have been installed on some streets in the city, indicating “Accident Concentration Area.” These signs mark sections of road up to 1,000 meters long where several serious traffic accidents have occurred over the past three years.
Drivers who see these signs are advised to:
- reduce their speed to a safe level;
- increase the distance to the vehicle in front;
- be especially attentive to pedestrians and the maneuvers of other drivers.
