Oleksandr Kramarenko posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded police major Oleksandr Kramarenko the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the III degree for his courage and selfless service in defense of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Kramarenko served in the internal affairs bodies since 2009, and for over ten years he performed duties as a special forces officer in Rivne region.

Since February 2024, he participated in combat operations as part of the assault regiment “Tsunami” of the United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Rage,” where he held the position of platoon commander.

Unfortunately, on November 4, 2024, his life was tragically cut short due to enemy shelling in the Kostiantynivka direction.

In March 2025, Oleksandr Kramarenko was posthumously awarded the special rank of major.

The fallen hero is survived by his wife, daughter, and parents.
