The affected child was of high school age from the Rivne region, who was on an excursion in Yaremche.
At a souvenir market, the schoolboy purchased dried fly agarics and consumed them. Soon after, symptoms of poisoning appeared: repeated vomiting and confusion.
Initially, the child was taken to the Yaremche Central City Hospital, where emergency assistance was provided. Later, a mobile team from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital transported the patient to the emergency (urgent) medical care department of the regional hospital for further treatment.
Fortunately, thanks to timely medical assistance, the child recovered and was discharged home.
