After completing his mandatory military service, Maksym worked as a builder. In November 2024, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Even during the anti-terrorist operation, Maksym wanted to defend the country, but he was kept in reserve. He was a kind and compassionate person, always ready to help. Before the war, he enjoyed playing billiards and cooking in his free time. Maksym loved his daughter very much and always tried to support his family. For everyone who knew him, he will forever remain a sincere, responsible, and bright person,” recalled the defender’s ex-wife.
Unfortunately, 42-year-old soldier Maksym Lohinov was killed on March 16, 2025, while performing a combat mission in the Kursk region of Russia. For a long time, he was considered missing in action, and only recently was his body identified and returned to his family for a proper burial.
The defender is survived by his daughter and ex-wife.
