In the city of Kostopil in Rivne region, work has begun on the improvement of the left bank of the Zamchysko River. The work covers the area from the pedestrian bridge near the Youth Sports School to the bridge on Sarnenska Street.

It has been noted that the pedestrian path, which is used daily by students of Lyceum No. 3, trainees of the sports school, and local residents, is in an emergency state and requires urgent repairs. Some sections are particularly dangerous, especially after rain.
The project includes bank reinforcement, the arrangement of new pedestrian paths, installation of lighting, benches, and trash bins.
Along the route, it is also planned to place quotes from prominent Ukrainian figures from various historical periods, starting from the princely era and Cossack times to modern history of Ukraine.
The area will be enhanced with new greenery.
