The 59th rotation of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) permanent monitoring mission took place at the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. Specialists from Argentina and the Republic of South Africa joined the team at the plant.

During the concluding meeting, participants discussed the results of the previous mission, the current safety situation at the facility, and introduced the new composition of the international team that will carry out its activities at the plant over the next three weeks.
The main objective of the mission remains independent observation of nuclear and radiation safety, adherence to key IAEA principles, and assessment of the impact of military factors on the operation of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant.
