This morning on the M-06 Kyiv — Chop highway, near the village of Veresneve, a traffic accident occurred.

At the scene, patrol officers found that a 37-year-old driver of a Scania truck was driving inattentively, failing to control the road situation. As a result, he veered into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Mercedes-Benz truck traveling in the opposite direction.
The police documented the incident by compiling a street and road network inspection report and a protocol under Article 124 (Violation of traffic rules leading to an accident) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses against the person responsible for the accident.
