During the first ten months of this year, over 9000 dental services, including dental prosthetics and treatment, were provided to 3342 servicemen and veterans in the Rivne region. This information was announced during a meeting at the Department of Civil Protection and Public Health of the Regional State Administration.

It is worth noting that within the framework of the NHIF package “Free Dental Prosthetics Services,” several medical institutions are involved in the contract, including:
- KP “Berezne Dental Clinic”;
- KP “Zdolbuniv Dental Clinic”;
- KP “Sarny Dental Clinic”;
- KP “City Dental Clinic” of the Rivne City Council;
- KP “Rivne Regional Dental Clinic” of the Regional Council.
Under the package “Free Planned Dental Care Services,” the following institutions provide services:
- KP “Volodymyrets Multidisciplinary Hospital”;
- KP “Demydiv District Hospital”;
- KP “Derazhne Hospital”;
- KP “Kostopil Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital”;
- KP “Rivne Regional Clinical Diagnostic Center named after Viktor Polishchuk” of the Regional Council;
- State Institution “Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Rivne Region.”
Veterans have the right to receive free medical services, including dental treatment and prosthetics.
Free dental treatment services include:
- initial examination;
- X-ray examinations;
- treatment of caries and its complications;
- treatment of traumatic and non-traumatic dental injuries;
- restoration of the anatomical shape of teeth;
- tooth extraction;
- removal of deposits from tooth surfaces;
- splinting of teeth;
- anesthesia;
- emergency medical assistance;
- barrier-free access.
The dental prosthetics services include:
- patient examination;
- diagnostics – examination, X-ray, orthopantomography;
- manufacturing and installation of various types of prostheses;
- treatment of supporting teeth;
- anesthesia;
- correction, polishing, and adaptation to prostheses;
- emergency assistance;
- barrier-free access.
Procedure for receiving dental services:
- Contact a dentist for dental treatment.
- Obtain a referral for dental prosthetics and visit a medical facility that has a contract with the NHIF.
- Submit an application and provide original documents: passport, identification code, and proof of status document.
The scope of treatment and the number of teeth are determined by the dentist according to the individual needs of the patient.
State expenses for services:
Dental treatment – up to 24,952 UAH per tooth.
Dental prosthetics – up to 34,966 UAH per tooth.
If additional treatment is needed, veterans can again seek services, and the state will cover the costs.
