Owner Ordered to Restore the Krasitsky Palace in Volodymyrets

The court has ordered the owner to restore the architectural monument of local significance – the Krasitsky Palace in the town of Volodymyrets, which is the only preserved estate in Polissia.

This is reported by Rivne24

It has been established that the owner, contrary to the requirements of the protection agreement and the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Cultural Heritage,” failed to ensure proper maintenance of the building. Emergency, repair, and restoration works were not carried out, leading to the deterioration of the object.

In particular, the roof of the palace has collapsed, and individual elements and structures of the building are deteriorating, posing a threat to its complete destruction.

In order to protect the interests of the state in the field of cultural heritage preservation, the prosecutor’s office has filed a lawsuit. The court recognized the claims as justified and ordered the owner to restore the monument to an appropriate condition.

After the decision comes into legal force, measures will be taken to ensure its enforcement.
