The presentation of Valerii Voitovych’s book ‘Volyn Michelangelo Oskar Sosnovskyi’ took place at the State Historical and Cultural Reserve of the city of Ostroh, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the death of the renowned sculptor Tomasz Oskar Sosnovskyi.

Special attention in the book is given to the analysis of the sculptor’s sacred heritage, particularly the images of Christ, the Madonna, and biblical saints.
During the presentation, the author detailed the biography of Tomasz Oskar Sosnovskyi, emphasizing his close connection to Ostroh and Volyn. In conclusion, Valerii Voitovych shared plans to establish a nationwide award named after Tomasz Sosnovskyi, which will honor artists and researchers of Ukrainian art.
