Oleksiy Bahanets, former prosecutor of the Rivne region and Deputy Attorney General, has achieved a significant increase in his pension through the court.

As of January 1, 2026, he was receiving a pension of 42.9 thousand UAH per month. However, following the decision of the Rivne District Administrative Court, this amount was raised to 136.6 thousand UAH.
It should be noted that the pensions of many special pensioners, including prosecutors, were temporarily reduced due to martial law, resulting in the application of reduction coefficients. However, Bahanets succeeded in having this provision lifted for himself, allowing him to receive his full pension.
