A case of rabies in a cat has been recorded in the village of Holyshev in the Zoryan council. In connection with this, by the decision of the State Emergency Anti-Epidemic Commission, the village has been declared unfavorable regarding rabies, and appropriate quarantine restrictions have been imposed.

A threat zone has also been defined, which includes:
- part of the village of Holyshev (not included in the unfavorable point);
- the villages of Zastav’ya, Smorzhiiv, Derev’yane, Starozhukiv, Bilyiv, Dyskiv, Zorya, Novostav, Olishva of the Zoryan rural council;
- forest, field, and hunting grounds of the Rivne Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Animals.
Until the quarantine restrictions are lifted in the area where rabies has been detected, the export of dogs, cats, and wild animals beyond the territory is prohibited.
