At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Vasyl was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“He took this challenge seriously, understanding the need to defend his homeland. Vasyl was truly kind, honest, and brave, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was capable of handling any household task, repairing things, building a house – nothing was impossible for him,” noted the defender’s wife.

Unfortunately, 36-year-old soldier Vasyl Pryshchepa was killed on July 6, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk region. Just recently, his body was identified and returned to his family for a dignified burial.
